Child chews on batteries

08/27/2008

Question:

Why does a Child chew on batteries (hearing aide batteries)

Answer:

Chewing on any battery can be very, very dangerous and should be stopped immediately.  Children should be prevented from having access to small batteries that they could swallow.  Please do not allow this to continue as the damage can be permanent and potentially life threatening.
