Pet Scans10/10/2008 |
I have had six pet scans in the last 18 months for N-H lymphoma which is now in recession. Do I still need a mammogram? I am 73 years old.
Yes - you still need a mammogram. PET scans do not look at the breast in the same fashion or with the same reliability as a mammogram.
