Signs Of Dementia or Alzheimer's09/24/2008 |
I had an MRI of the brain and cervical spine. The brain MRI stated frontal subdural spaces are symmetrically prominent. Minimal nonspecific deep white matter signal hyperintensities are present. Impression 1) prominent symmetric bilateral subdural spaces suggesting early frontal lobe atrophy or possibly an anatomical variant. 2) Minimal nonspecific deep white matter hyperintensities possible reflecting very early deep white matter ischemic changes. My question is are these the early signs of dementia or Alzheimers? I have had high blood pressure for many years.
