Black phlegm10/13/2008 |
I am a marijuana smoker, was a cigarette smoker up until 2 years ago. For the last few months I have been coughing up dark phlegm. Then this morning I was coughing and the phlegm was a dark black color. I`ve had tonsilitis in the last month or so, and it seems to be a recurring problem, and also somewhat of a sore throat. Should I get this checked out? Or is it just from the smoke? Thanks for your help.
Black phlegm is both abnormal and worrisome. Please see your doctor soon. While you're waiting to get in, think about why you need the weed?
