Two medications10/17/2008 |
im currently on epilium but have had side effects such as weight gain and tremors ,they are now deciding to put me on topamax .dosage being that of 200mg morning and night of epilium and to start 25gms of topamax for the first month then 200mg of epilium and 50gm of topamax for another month ,then after decreasing my epiluim to im aventually off the epilium ,are these to medications ok to take together like this as i can find any thing about it on the net or other sites ...Thank you
The choice of medications for seizures is complicated and must take into account many different aspects including age, gender, seizure type and current side effects. Topamax can be safely taken with Epilim.
