Range of motion - recommended frequency
I am treating school-aged children (ages 6-21) with cerebral palsy that are not ambulatory and in wheelchairs or alternative seating positions for the majority of the day. What is the recommended frequency per week to perform range of motion exercises on these children to maintain range to use adaptive standing equipment and how long should the stretches be held? Do you have any guidelines on standing in standing frames in terms of frequency and duration?
