Answer:

It is not uncommon to have some loose skin after losing a significant amount of weight. The loose skin that you are seeing, as well as some of the breast tenderness, may be because your muscle mass is decreased and because the fat cells have shrunk, the skin is flabby.

I would not recommend fastening your bra so tight that it’s uncomfortable, but you should have a bra that fits without gaps around your chest. The cup size should be large enough to encompass the breast and not have the breast tissue hang out the sides of the cup. A good sports bra would probably be the best choice for comfort and support right now.

I would consult a provider to make sure that you are healthy enough for exercise and then work on some toning exercises like free weights, swimming, or walking with hand weights. The best thing to do is have a consultation at a reputable health club, the YMCA, or a local community center that has an exercise program.

It’s also important to be sure that you are eating a balanced diet so that you have the nutrients that you need to keep your skin’s elasticity as you exercise. This is a major project and will take months. I don’t think there’s a quick fix for what you are describing. Hope this helps.
