COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) |

Mother is 80 and has COPD. She is thin and will only leave her bed to use the bathroom. She is on steroids and many other medications which she takes four times a day. She also uses oxygen for most of the day. We would like to know if we should prepare for the worst.
Without knowing more specifics about her lung function and her health in general, it would be difficult for us to tell you what to expect.
