Strong ammonia smell in urine11/19/2008 |
My 6 mo old woke up this am with a take your breath away smell of amonia in his urine. He is only on formula and fruits and veg. His 2nd diaper was the same. Do you have any idea what might be going on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
If he is showing no signs of illness or distress, consider concentrating on fluids vs. solids. If you concern continues, call or visit your pediatric healthcare provider.
