Irregular Periods!!11/17/2008 04:21PM |
Hi, I am 25 years old and facing this problem of irregular period problems for the past 2 months. I am getting married next month and i do not want this problem to continue. My period cycle has now exceeded 35 days and if it comes now it will fall on the same day of my wedding next month. It is suppose to come on the 14th of every month. Can you suggest any medicine for me to get my period on time or before it coincides with my wedding date. Kindly consider this as urgent. Thanks!
It may be possible to induce menstruation with a progesterone hormone that would be taken for 12 to 14 days. Your period would then occur after discontinuation of the medication. Depending upon the timing of your wedding, this may or may not achieve your goal. You should discuss this with your health care provider. Lisa M. Keder, M.D., M.P.H.
