I have been previously tested regarding epi and have been hospitalized after receiving epi for a bee sting, dental work, I now wear a medic alert tag. I definately do have a serious reaction to epi. Today the dental issue was with carbocaine... the carbocaine contained mepivacaine to which I was allergic. The episode was not a result of stress, anxiety or being a big baby.it was a result of a clear cut reaction to the medication. I am 61 and generally know what I can or cannot tolerate.
