Can a Catapress Patch be Cut in Half?

12/10/2008 09:12AM

Question:

Can a catapress patch be cut in half?

Answer:

No! It is definitely not advised to cut or trim medicinal patches to adjust the dose of a drug for various reasons. You may not get the right delivery of the dose of your Catapress. Also this will decrease the therapeutic effect of the drug, making it ineffective to treat your condition.

Do not try to trim or cut the adhesive patch to adjust the dosage. Check with your doctor if you think the medicine is not working as it should.
