Does treatment with metformin prolong diabetes in individuals with impaired glucose tolerance? -
Treatment with metformin has been shown to delay the appearance of diabetes in people with impaired glucose tolerance. Please see the question just prior to this one for a reference to the scientific paper supporting this.
