I have just had a heavy flow of blood for a couple of days. Prior to this I had no period for 6 months. Then I was losing for a week a really heavy flow of blood. Now I have back pain and yesterday I could hardly move. I have taken pain killers and am trying to rest up. Is this due to the menopause? I am nearly 51 years old. Thanks.
