Swelling foreskin12/22/2008 |
Last night when pulling my foreskin down I noticed that it was red and a little swollen. I did not think anything of it and had sex with my wife. Today when I woke up it was really swollen and hurting. I noticed this happen before, but a long time ago when we had sex too much that day, and it went away in about 3 days or so. I am wondering on what causes this and how to prevent it from happening? I am usually clean, take showers daily, and pull back the foreskin and clean it daily.
Swelling can occur if the foreskin is not pulled back down over the head of the penis. Swelling can be secondary to trauma, infection, etc. I would suggest that you be examined by your physician and discuss these issues.
