Asthma |

I don`t have asthma but my doctor said that I have bronicail spasms from my cold. Is that the same as an asthma attck?
Some people have wheezing and other symptoms similar to asthma when they get a viral infection. This does not mean they have asthma. However if someone has asthma it can often be triggered by a viral infection. In order to evaluate for asthma, you would need to be seen and examined by your doctor when you are not acutely ill and may need specific tests of your lung function.
