Urinating Problem01/12/2009 |
I have this weird problem: every time I have to urinate it smells I kid you not like Peanut Butter. I didn`t realize for a long time why I smelled this when I went to the bathroom. Now I realize it`s my urine. What does this mean? Does the make any sense. I am type 2 diabetic.
It is difficult to say what can cause this. Certainly there are some foods which are well known to cause strange smells of the urine. Asparagus is the most common but not alone. The only thing you can do is systematically think about foods you eat or medications you may be taking (prescribed or over the counter) and stop taking that product to see if there is a change.
