Bone spur03/17/2009 |
Is it possibe to have bone spur on the ulna bone midway up bone? my arm was xrayed for a different injury and the xray showed like a thorn sticking out of outside of bone. sometimes it aches sometimes fingers hurt.
If you've not already done so, a history and physical examination by an orthopedist, and possibly also, additional imaging studies, should help answer your question. FYI, a condition called "hypophosphatasia" - which is usually diagnosed in infancy or childhood - has been reported to have spurs off long bones along with many other features, but this may not be applicable to you.
