Oxalates and vitamins

12/31/2008

Question:

what vitimins should someone that is on a low oxalate diet? can they take a multi-vitimin?

Answer:

A good multivitamin and mineral supplement would be great. People on a low oxalate diet are sometimes asked to limit vitamin C intake to no more than 1000 milligrams per day, but the amount of vitamin C in a multivitamin plus the amount you get in your food will not be more than this.
