Can I die from bad teeth?01/09/2009 |
I have 8 teeth that are partially or completely broken off. I have some swelling in the surrounding tisses. I can bear it, but I`ve heard you can die if the poisen gets to the brain. What are my chances?
Although it is very unlikely, it is possible to die from infected teeth, especially if you are diabetic or have low resistance (a weak immune system). Even if infected teeth don't often kill you, they do sometimes affect your overall health negatively.
