Left Side Pain - Kidney Removal01/13/2009 |
I recently had ecoli urine infection. I had amoxicilan antibiotics twice as it returned after first course, but I am in agony with pain, feeling sick, can`t sleep, have to sit up all night to get comfortable. I had a CT scan with no result yet after six days. Having only one kidney I am concerned that the other one could be removed for kidney stones. Am I right to be concerned? I am 70 years old. Thanks.
I would suggest that you follow up with your doctor to be examined and review the results of your CT scan. With a solitary kidney and the symptoms you are having, it is important to determine exactly what is going on.
