Rectal lumps on my 8 month old02/03/2009 |
My 8 month old son has 2 dime sized purple/blue, hard core, soft outside tissue lumps just on the edge of the rectum. Origonally diagnosed as staph, he is not responding to antibiotics, which he has been on for over 2 weeks now. The lumps alternate between being very tender to not bothering him at all. They seem to look veiny but do not look like any hemorriod or prolapse pics I`ve researched. I have an appointment for him in a few weeks with a gastroenterologist, but would like to be somewhat informed on the topics he might discuss with him. Thank you,
