Rehabilitation

Bulging disc in neck

01/27/2009

Question:

What type of exercise can I do to rehab a bulging disc in my neck. Where the neck meets the shoulders (that disc)

Answer:

There is more than one way to treat bulging discs in the neck.  One way is with exercises that extend your neck.  (So looking up toward the ceiling.)  Another is traction which can be done at a physical therapy office. There are others which are more complicated to explain and therefore require demonstration and coaching.  Which works best is still up for debate.
