Possible food allergy?01/26/2009 |
On occasion, when I eat shell fish or drink certain things my face, the front of my throat and sometimes my chest get splotchy red. I think I may have food allergies. It is never bad. In 2 years, I have only had a swollen throat once. Upon a pharmacist`s advice, i took children`s liqid benadryll and it seems to work every time. This only started 2 years ago. I have never had a food allergy in my life. Should I be concerned and should I have this checked?
Allergies can occur at any age. You definitely should consult your primary care physician about your symptoms.
