How does this affect infertility in females?
It is theoretically possible that hemochromatosis, if left untreated, can contribute to infertility in both males and females. The best way to avoid potential problems or infertility in this situation is early detection and treatment and management of iron levels to keep them within normal range. A full evaluation for each case of infertility would be required to find out what the actual cause is in that case.
