Spot on tongue02/02/2009 |
hello i went to my dentist a couple of weeks ago and he noticed i had a white line on my tongue,he said if it didn`t go in a couple of weeks to go back i have just been back and now it is a white spot on the side of my tongue that is starting to become a little painfull,any ideas?
Your dentist might consider an oral brush biopsy if he or she felt it was indicated. This is a non-invasive (no novocaine, no stitches), simple (small hard brush) procedure that is covered by many dental insurance companies. I suggest you return to your local dentist if it does not heal/disappear.
