High Blood Pressure |
Blood pressure while exercising03/02/2009 |
How should blood pressure react during exercise? Does it increase or decrease during a walk or run?
The normal blood pressure during exercise is for it to increase. One of the most efficient ways for the body to increases blood flow to organs under increased demand is to increase blood pressure. Generally though during the post exercise period, it is not usual for the blood pressure to decrease. Regular exercise will produce an overall decrease in resting blood pressure.
