i have a cold and i be trying to hack up the mucus but all of it wont come so i brought a box of mucinex.and on the back of the box it says don`t take if you have asthma.so i was wondering what would the medacine do if i take it .
It is important to talk to your care provider about what he/she wants you to do when you get sick. An Asthma Action is a set of instructions to follow when you start having asthma symptoms. The warning on the Mucinex box is precautionary because sometimes an increase in mucus may be a sign your asthma is not fully controlled. Please contact your provider office for their recommendations.
