Unusual bleeding after hysteroscopy03/04/2009 |
I recently had a hysteroscopy and D and C because I was experiencing post menopausal bleeding. My age is 57 and 9 and a half years ago I had a lupectomy for cancer. So my concern was for the diagnosis of the uterus. I haven`t had a period in 9 years, now I`m bleeding . I called my doctor and she said I might have this bleeding for a couple of weeks. The procedure was done on Feb 6 and I have been experiencing bleeding for about 10 days, is this unusal?
This question is best answered by your own physician. The answer depends on your history, your examination, and what he/she found at the time of your surgery. I would suggest that you call his/her office again and express your concerns.
