Is Sweating a Sign of Kidney Problems?

02/26/2009

Question:

Im a 27 year old female who had kidney stone a little over a year ago. Two of them passed and two of them remain in my kidney. Over the last year I have gone from being always cold to becoming warm and sweating very easily including at night. Could this be a warning sign for kidney disease or problems?

Answer:

Could be if the remaining stones are infected. You should check your temperature when you feel this way to check for fever. There are many other possible causes for your symptoms and you should see your doctor for an exam and some blood and urine tests.
