What can be done to prevent the formation of colon and rectal polyps, which are precancerous?
None of these things are highly protective but in general?
- Eat a diet that is lower fat and higher fiber
- Exercise regularly
- Keep weight low
- Don’t smoke
- Limit alcohol to 1 drink per day
