Can menopause cause tremor symptoms04/07/2009 |
Ive been having tremor symptoms for almost a year now. I have gone through peri-menopause and several months ago my dr. confirmed i have entered menopause. Over the last year i have started with body tremors (started when trying to sleep) and periodically mild tremor and shakiness inside. Sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night with tremors and then i start to have a hot flash (i have hot flashes without the tremor mostly). could menopause be the cause of the tremors? THANK YOU!
Lots of changes occur at the same time as menopause, but are not directly related to the hormone changes traditionally attributed to menopause. I don't think your tremors are related to the female hormone changes occurring now for you.
