Root canal diagnosis procedure03/17/2009 |
I have a painful tooth area 15 or 14 and as part of the Endodontic Diagnosis the Dr, did 3 injections of ....cain (not sure which one) in the gum area and roof of my mouth. I never heard of doing this procedure as part of the testing. When asked if the pain went away I said yes and he than said this indicates it is a tooth nerve problem. It has been almost 48 hours and I now have no pain. Is there an explanation?
I cannot speak directly to your particular situation because I do not have all the necessary information. However, injections of anesthetic can be used for diagnostic purposes.
