Side effects of epidural04/02/2009 |
I had both my children with C-section and I was given epidural both times, I had my daughter in 1979 and my son in 1982, but about 1-2yrs ago I started having some pain at my lower back that i can feel everytime I bend and getting back up i can feel it at my lower back and around my waist line, could this be from the epidural i had. I do exercise about 3-4 times a week and i take my calcium+mag-d as surgested by my Dr. If not. do you not what else can cause this.
Your back pain is not related to epidurals you had 27-30 years ago. Rather, as we age, there are a number of changes in the spine that can lead to pain. The most likely cause in your age group is spondylosis or arthritis of the spine. A pain medicine specialist may be able to help control your pain.
