I`m curious how this drug is doing so far. I realize it was just O.K.`ed in November for Lennox-Gastaut. FDA is expected to approve it soon for onset-seizures. I`ve read before that it has been used in other countries for years, but can`t find about any (if @ all) unexpected effects.
Banzel (rufinamide) was first available in January 2009 to be prescribed for seizures in Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. It may be approved later for other seizures. You can learn more about the side effects and more about the effects on seizures at the website below.
