My mom had a masectomy about 3 years ago, she had cancer in her right breast. She has a benign lump the size of a pea in her left breast. S he told me that it had become sore. Should she be concerned
The chance that it is something serious depends on how it was determined to be benign, what imaging was performed, or whether there was a biopsy and how recently the lump was evaluated. I would suggest that a sore lump in a breast cancer survivor be rechecked.
