Blood clot?03/30/2009 |
I had an operation on my right ankle about 4 years ago, when I fractured it. I had to get pins put in but over the last couple of weeks it has been hurting a lot and has swelled a bit (often when i`ve been walking long distances) would this be a sign of blood clotting?
If the swelling is at the level of the ankle and not the calf, it is less likely to be a blood clot of significance.
