How long does it take permanent tooth?03/27/2009 |
My son lost both of his top middle baby teeth. One of the permanent teeth came in right away but the other one has not come in yet. It has been almost two months. Should I be concerned?
It is not unusual for one permanent tooth to be a few months of its counterpart on the other side. If you don't see it coming in within the next six - eight weeks, have your son evaluated by your dentist to make certain that there is nothing blocking its eruption.
