Can or does carb/levo cause dry, scale, inside the ears?
Seborrheic dermatitis is dry, scaling, and sometime red skin that can particularly be seen around the forehead/scalp, ears, face, and trunk. It is seen with Parkinson's disease itself, and not as a side effect to medication. In addition, parkinsonian medications do not help this condition.Seborrheic dermatitis can sometimes be simply treated with dandruff shampoos containing selenium or ketoconazole applied to the affected area daily for a few weeks, but with caution to avoid getting it into the eyes. It may be necessary to visit a family doctor or even a dermatologist if it persists.
