Left breast itchiness04/07/2009 |
my left breast has been itching for the last month or so. the itchiness occurs on the right side of the breast beside the nipple. the itchiness is always in the same spot. i dont incur any pain from the itchiness, just dry skin from scratching it so much. could this be a sign of breast cancer?
Sometimes nipple changes can be a sign of breast cancer. The area should be checked by a dermatologist or breast specialist. A persistent itchy area with dry skin or that is scaly may need a small biopsy.
