Question:

Why do we not include Coeliac disease in allergic disorders and consider it as autoimmune disease

Answer:

Because it is not mediated by allergic antibody (IgE) and several autoantibodies have been documented. In addition, the pathologic pattern is not consistent with allergy but with an autoimmune disease.
