What would be considered normal iron count in the blood for a 67 year old female? Would you consider 167 count to be high? Thank you.
The following information is from MedlinePlus:Normal Results
- Iron: 60-170 mcg/dL
- TIBC: 240-450 mcg/dL
- Transferrin saturation: 20-50%
Note: mcg/dl = micrograms per deciliter
