Paralyzed diaphragm problems
i was diagnosed with a paralized diaphram last year after having a sniff test. I recently had had pheumonia that caused ahuge infection. I am also diabetic and am trying to loose weight. I have been trying to go on walks but but the time I finish a 30 minute walk I am dying and very out of breath. Any suggestions
Hi. You should see a pulmonary medicine specialist. Usually a paralyzed diaphragm on one side does not cause a problem, but with pneumonia, it may cause a problem. If you let me know where you live, I can also help recommend a person if you would like. Feel free to write back to NetWellness.
