i am now 19 and still have the petite mals ocasionally, i was diagnosed at age 4 and was told i would out grow them. I frequently experience times of confusion, more difficulty understanding and lost train of thought. It affects my job as a CNA as it slows me down more than normal. Is it possibly contributed to another nuerological disorder. If so where can I go to learn to counteract these effects. These symptoms occur all the time even when I don`t experience my seizures.
It is very possible that your symptoms of confusion may be seizures. If this is the case, then the medications you are taking need to be adjusted. Please discuss these concerns with your health care provider.
