Sarcoidosis |
So many different answers04/21/2009 |
How come when you talk to one doctor about Sarcoidosis they act like it`s not really a big deal yet the next one you talk to says it can be fatal? I have been to Mayo and have also seen doctors in my city and am more confused than ever. Thanks
The reason for this confusion relates to the fact that many cases of sarcodoisis are very mild and require little or no treatment. However, there are some cases of sarcoidosis that are very severe and can be difficult to treat effectively. The more severe cases of sarcoidosis tend to be referred to specialty clinics, such as the Mayo Clinic. Thus, you might get a different perspective depending on the type of sarcoidosis patient being seen by the doctor.
