Oral Cancer

Swollen right tonsil

Ok I`m 15 so i wasn`t sure if i would be counted as an adult, but i know the cut off for pediatrics is 18 so i just went with this. Only my right tonsil is swollen and I`ve had nausea, congestion, headache, and a runny/stopped up nose with yellow mucus. Those symptoms have some what faded except for the swollen right tonsil. I have to admit that I smoke, not often, but some. So i was wondering what the chances of it being Lymphoma or Squamus Cell Carcinoma are?(I know SCC is generally in older people, but considering my habit I wanted to make sure.)

Swollen tonsils after viral or bacterial infections of the throat are usually found. I recommend follow up with your family doctor. I certainly recommend stopping smoking too.
