I have not responded to very good to the biologics. I am allergic to Humira, so my doctor will not give me Remicade. What can you tell me about Simponi? Where I am allergic to Humira could I be allergic to Simponi?
Your comment suggests that your physician is trying to avoid biologic medications that are known as anti-TNF-alpha agents. Etanercept (Enbrel), infliximab (Remicade), adalimumab (Humira), and golimumab (Simponi) are all anti-TNF-alpha agents.
