Answer:
Titanium is a very stable material. It is so innocuous to the human body that it is often used as the ideal material to test other new materials against. That is not to say that a titanium implant cannot cause pain if it presses on nerves or other structures in the head. Therefore, I think you can safely rule out any reaction to titanium, but may want to investigate the other structures that are close to his dental implant.
