Pulmonary Hypertension |
Cause of Symptoms05/12/2009 |
I have been getting increase symptoms. I am extremely tired. I have to have a nap at lunch time at work just so I can get throught the afternoon. My legs have been feeling weak and I have been getting muscle spasms and cramps. I also have been getting dizzy spells. I have PH and uncontroled RA. They told me that my ph was cought early so they were just going to wait and see for a little bit. I see my lung specialist on Friday. These symptoms have been getting worse since Christmas. Is there any way to tell or any test that can be done which one is causing my symptoms?
It is rare to get PH with rheumatoid arthritis. If your lung specialist is concerned about worsening PH, I am sure he or she will order the appropriate tests which could be an echocardiogram or a right heart catheterization.
