Dear Sir, I suffer from a lot of pain in my neck due to severe pinched nerves in my neck. My question is can these pinched nerves affect your vision, headaches, loss of balance, affect your hearing because they are so close to the ear? If so, what is the only treatable way to correct this problem beside surgery?
There are no nerves in the neck that involve your vision or hearing. There is a lot of debate about whether neck problems can cause headaches – if so, it is only indirectly, probably through muscle tension, but is not directly from the nerves. I cannot tell you what kind of treatment you need, only a qualified physician who has examined you and seen your x-rays can suggest treatment.
